Just a Little Batty

It was my mom's birthday and she loves bats so I decided to make this cute little guy. I did not use a pattern but I based it off of this picture http://www.planetjune.com/blog/fruit-bat-crochet-pattern/ I also used pipe cleaners to make the wings a little more stiff.

My Personalized Softball Hat

To those of you who don't know me I am a softball player.
And I need a hat to wear to those cold winter workouts.
So making a team hat seemed like the best solution
I did not use a pattern.

My Stitched Stitch Hat

Stitch is my all time favorite Disney Character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been planning to make this hat for a while.
The ears did take some time to figure out though. I made a right triangle and then sewed it on folded to match the shape.
Sorry but I don't have a pattern.

St. Patty's Day Headband

I like to really go full out on holidays in school.
So in addition to green lips and all green attire for St. Patrick's Day I decided to quickly make this.
This little shamrock is my proudest crocheting achievement.
The clover is a variation of a flower pattern that I found and I outlined it in white so it would stand out against my brown hair.

MINIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not that big a fan of the movie Despicable Me but I fell in LOVE with Gru's little Minions.
Once again I did not use a pattern but I will explain how I did some of this.
The hair was just knotted onto the top. And the eye was stitched onto the black strip separately.
Then the black strip was stitched onto the hat all the way around.
I once again recommend stitching the mouth on. I just used fabric glue.

Kermit the Frog Here!

I am a huge Muppets fan. Even before Jason Segel came out with the new movie.
Yes I am a little young to be a Muppets Show fan. But oh well.
So I had to make this hat. Come on it's a Kermit.the Frog hat. How awesome is that
I did NOT use a pattern. This was all by eye.

Basketball Wanted

So after Christmas my brother wanted to have a hat to wear to basketball games.
 So this happened.
The stitching was difficult on the top so I ended up using fabric glue. Not my best idea but I was in a rush.
I recommend that you take the time to actually stitch it on.
Here's where I got the pattern. CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!

J...E...T...S... Jets Jets Jets

For this past Christmas I decided to make my brother a couple of hats that he was begging me to make.
He is a huge NY Jets fan so this seemed a perfect fit.

Just ignore the sunglasses I just use those to hold the ball still
Here is where I got the pattern for this hat

Orange Hat

So this is the first hat that I made.
The simple pattern makes it an amazing start for beginners.
I also made it extra large so it can fit over my ponytail.

It was supposed to be an orange but has been called a pumpkin, and once had been called an acorn.
This where I got the pattern. PLEASE CHECK THIS BLOG OUT!!!! SHE IS TRULY AMAZING!!!!
